I know you said in another comment that it was supposed to signify something going terribly wrong, but to me it doesn't come across that way. It looks like one of those heartbreakingly beautiful mementos of a lifetime of love and loyalty. Like they spent their entire lives together with a beautiful love connecting them, and then they died together, proud and strong, and all that's left to remember them by is a feather, a necklace, and the world they saved together. And in my mind, the love they shared lingers like a little glowing sun, connecting the necklace and the feather for eternity.
Though the blue does give it the sad effect. I mean, even if it is a symbol of life, it still implies that they died (to me at least).
You have no idea how excited I was to have an actual new reply and then I looked at your page and OMG your art and your fandoms asdkjfascnsojrwonsfs.
Hi. You've officially been sorted into my "I think you're kind of amazing" folder.
And yeah, it's kind of terrible, but some of the most beautiful things either rise out of or leave behind sadness. At least it's the sadness of the past or the joy of having them in the first place surrounding it though. Tragic beauty is the worst and somehow most profound kind, I think.
